We are pleased that you have chosen to host your event at The Studio at Gulf and Pine. The following information will help ensure a smooth event. While this is not totally exhaustive, it is a good guideline and should answer most questions concerning an event here. Please pass this information along to others in your organization as appropriate.
There is limited parking available for patrons at The Studio. There is additional parking available close by and arrangements must be made in advance with The Studio staff.
No special permits are required for the building’s use. Alcoholic beverages may be served but NOT sold.
The use of the name, “The Studio”, likeness or artwork or the name of the owner in any advertising or press release is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from The Studio.
No banners are permitted in or outside the building. Any anticipated advertising or sponsorship on premises MUST be cleared in advance with The Studio staff.
Sound Level Management
Tenants are encouraged to use the sound systems installed at, or provided by The Studio.
The Studio staff can provide your event with a list of recommended caterers familiar with the facility. You are permitted however to use a caterer of your choosing.
Visiting in Advance / "Walk –thrus".
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, advance "walk thus" are strongly encouraged. These should be timed so that all applicable Studio representatives can attend. Advance notification of one week is requested.
Technical assistance personnel are available to assist in the set up and use of the audio & video equipment when necessary. This service is charged at the rate of $95.00 per hour with a minimum 2 hour charge. Advance notification of at least one week is requested.
Audio / Video rental
Additional audio and video equipment is available for rental through The Studio. Please notify the staff of your needs for a quote.
Chairs and Tables
The Studio has limited chairs and tables available on site. Seating per room may not exceed local fire code. Contact the staff for more information.
Only authorized personnel are permitted in the Anti (Control) Room or electrical room.
Recording / Broadcasting
Any intention of recording (Audio or video) or broadcasting (including internet) from The Studio must be declared in advance.
MEDIA ROOM & GALLERIES
Equipment load in
All load ins should be scheduled in advance with The Studio personnel as to not interfere with other activities that may be taking place in the building.
Lowest Overhead Obstruction from the Rear Door is 79”
Narrowest Obstruction to Media Room from rear door is 67”
Narrowest Obstruction to Media Room from side, main entrance is 30” X 93”

Media Room Projection Screen:
Daylite 119” 16:9 Aspect Ratio High Power
Media Room Projector: Hitachi SXGA 1350 HIGH Definition Video Projector, 3500 ANSI Lumens, Ceiling Mounted
*Computer Input: A VGA Computer Presenter panel located in, and for use, in the Media Room. It is located house left of screen
and will automatically accept a large variety of computer video formats.
*Mac and Apple users must provide the appropriate adapters to convert their system to our
VGA presenter panel input.
Playback: There are two SONY DVP-NWS55PS audio / DVD players used to provide feeds to the Media Room projection system and the
Galleries. These units may also be connected to provide feeds throughout the Studio via Channel 65, “The Studio Channel”.
RF wall outlets are located throughout the building.
Media Room:Media Room audio is via a Pioneer VSX516K 7.1 THX approved surround sound system. The front speakers are Electro Voice,
Evid 4.2 wall mounted. The center speaker is a Profecient, PFAW525 ceiling mounted speaker. The side and rear speakers are
Electro Voice, Evid C4.2 ceiling mounted. The Sub woofer is a Subsonic, 10”cabinet mount.
The Galleries are provided audio through an Electro Voice CPS2T, 2 channel, 70v THX approved amplifier. The speakers are
Electro Voice, Evid C4.2 ceiling mounted speakers. There are separate user access volume controls for each of the two galleries
and speakers are located throughout both.
Power: There are a large number of wall duplex 20 Amp / 119VAC outlets located throughout The Studio complex. Any additional
power requirement requests must be made in advance.
